Kingi, who spoke on Tuesday at Kaya Fungo in Kaloleni Constituency, said the six Coast rebel MPs who seem to be courting the ruling coalition are doing so for their selfish interests.

He further criticized the coast MPs who are ‘dancing’ to the Jubilee team led by Gideon Mung’aro, saying they were misleading their constituents by asking them to support Jubilee.

"What amazes me is seeing some politicians from the Coast proclaiming that they will rally residents behind Jubilee despite the marginalisation that the region has endured over the years," he said.

The governor was accompanied by Kaloleni MP Gunga Mwinga, where they both insisted thay they will rally their supporters to vote for the opposition.

The opposition party, Cord, has seen an avalanche of exit, as top leaders resign from their posts claiming they have been marginalized.
