Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi on Thursday donated relief food to Magarini Sub-county residents, maintaining his administration's devour to avert hunger in the county.
"My Government shall continue to help the affected people until the drought season comes to an end. In the meantime, my administration is making progressive steps to address the hunger crisis," he said.
Speaking during the event, Kingi further said his government will be commissioning major infrastructural projects that will ensure the county is food secure in future.
"We are putting in place major projects to ensure the people of Kilifi are never again subjected to such harsh conditions," Kingi noted.
The ODM governor donated 500 bags of 90-Kg maize and 150 bags of 90-Kg beans as relief food.
