Kilifi governor Amason Kingi has accused the Jubilee administration of using relief food to hoodwink the Coastal region residents ahead of the August polls.
Speaking Gongoni, Kilifi County, the outspoken governor claimed that Jubilee is using the current food crisis facing the Coastal region to drum up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Jubilee is not sincere in its intentions of supplying food here, I urge you to reject their overtures just like last year during the Malindi by-election, they splashed the cash but you rejected their candidate, they have made a lot of trips to this region lately just because the election is next month,” he said.
Kingi further cautioned the residents against reelecting President Uhuru Kenyatta and Jubilee, noting that the Coastal region cannot gain anything from the administration.
The has been a fierce critic of President Kenyatta and Jubilee.
