According to Governor Amason Kingi NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga will garner votes in Kilifi County and ahead of the October 17 repeat polls.
Kingi added that the votes are 'assured' and Odinga does not even need to campaign in the county.
The Kilifi Governor who has been a strong critic of the Jubilee party believes President Uhuru Kenyatta will fail in his attempt to win votes due to similar reasons that made residents reject him in the General Elections.
On Wednesday, he addressed a gathering at the Kilifi sub-county hospital and said he plans on linking up with other NASA leaders as they carry on their nationwide hunt for votes as Kilifi has already been secured.
"That is how confident we are about the level of support for Raila Odinga," he said as quoted by The Standard.
