Mombasa Deputy Governor Dr. William Kingi on Monday visited the home of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, in Opoda Bondo, Siaya County.
In a Facebook post, Kingi noted that the meeting was about pertinent issues of national importance.
He further noted that the consultative breakfast meeting involved national reconciliation agenda, and the Devolution Conference expected to kick off in Kakamega.
“We deliberated on pertinent issues of national importance revolving around the National Reconciliation Agenda and the devolution Conference,” Kingi posted.
Kingi assured Raila that the people of Mombasa fully support his mission towards reconciling the nation
.Raila is in the region and is expected to address the Devolution Conference meeting in Kakamega.
On Sunday, the Opposition Leader visited Kisumu and attended a thanksgiving mass organised by Governor Anyang' Nyong'o.
Speaking after the mass, Odinga urged the locals to support his reconciliation agenda ignited by the famous handshake.
“I want to appeal to you the people of Kisumu to support my reconciliation agenda with President Uhuru Kenyatta as the only way for us to realize the devolution agenda,” he said.
