An Indian investor Shahid Ahmed Yusuf has railed against the Kilifi County Government for allegedly frustrating the construction of a 16 million shillings project in the Kilifi creek.''This land belongs to my child, I bought it for the purposes of constructing a project. I have been cleared by all the authorities like the National Environmental Management Authority. When I try to start the project, county officials come here to stop me, saying, ''You cannot build here,'' Yusuf told journalists at the site.The Kilifi County government in its response has said that the site is in a delicate part and that the project could pose a significant threat to the area's ecosystem.
