Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has asked Kenyans to reject Jubilee’s bid for a second term over inflating the economy in the past four years.

Speaking when he distributed 700 bags of relief food in Msoloni (at his Magarani political base) on Monday, the ODM governor said that the government’s poor economic policies have increased the cost of living for millions of Kenyans.

While urging the locals to embrace the NASA coalition, the Governor said that the Raila Odinga-led remove brackets alliance has the interests of Kenyans at heart and that it is Kenya’s best alternative.

Kingi who also dismissed Jubilee Party’s chances in the county said that Kilifi is an ODM zone and that attempts by the Uhuru Kenyatta-led party sway the region into the ruling party are futile.

He also dismissed Deputy President William Ruto and Kilifi North MP Gideon Mungaro’s latest attack on his development record saying that the people of Kilifi will judge his performance in August.

Kilifi County boasts the largest voting population in the entire coastal counties with over 600,000 voters enlisted and with Jubilee keen to wrestle the control of the county from ODM, the battle there will be epic.
