Kikuyu police are hunting for a man who allegedly stabbed his wife after finding her with another man in their house in Kinoo.
Speaking in his office on Friday Kikuyu OCPD Mutune Maweu said that the man is said to have been working at a nearby construction site in Kinoo when he went home to find his wife with another man in bed.
Neighours say that the husband may have taken kitchen knife and stubbed his wife on the right side of the chest. The other man managed to escape in the process.
The suspect fled soon after the incident.
However neighbours came to the aid of the woman and rushed her to Kikuyu Hospital where she is being treated.
"We are hunting for the suspect for his illegal act and whoever knows where he might be should report to the police immediately,” he said
The police boss warned couples against irrational decisions which could send them to jail.
“Couples should look for sensible ways to solve issues and not doing things out of anger then later regret," he advised.
