Senior officers nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta took the oath of office yesterday.George Kinoti, who had been heading the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in an acting capacity, was among those who swore to uphold the principles governing their responsibilities.He took the oath at the Supreme Court.Also taking the oath of office were Noor Gabow and Edward Mbugua as the deputy inspector generals of the administration police and the Kenya Police respectively.Chief Justice David Maraga urged the newly-sworn in officers to conduct themselves with the utmost integrity.
