Directorate of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti has explained why he failed to present lawyer Miguna Miguna in court ordered.

According to Kinoti, he is waiting for investigations to commence over failure for Miguna to be presented in court. 

The new DCI boss also claimed that he is yet to receive a charge sheet involving Miguna's case.

Kinoti alonside Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet were tasked to present Miguna in court on Monday afternoon.

This is after Miguna remained in police custody despite being released on a cash bail.

He wason Friday charged for his role on in the swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga.

It is alleged that Miguna suffered an asthma attack on Sunday while locked up at the Lari Police Station in Limuru.
