Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has reiterated his government's commitment to improving road infrastructure in the county.
Kinuthia disclosed that ten percent of the county budget had been allocated to roads in the past financial year.
"In the last financial year we had allocated Sh1.1 billion towards roads rehabilitation and we expect this to rise to Sh1.2 billion in the coming year," he said.
He said that plans to rehabilitate 10,000Km of roads across the county in five years are on track with 6,000km already done.
He was accompanied by officers from the Kenya Roads Authority and agreed to repair the damaged section.
