Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Saturday hit out at Cord leaders led by Raila Odinga saying they are idle.

Kinuthia urged the youth to shun Cord demonstrations.

Speaking in Nakuru, Kinuthia said CORD leaders are jobless and that is why they can afford all day on the roads demonstrating.

"These are demonstrations led by people who have no mandate from the people,” He said.

“They have no job to do and that's why they can afford all day on road," he added.

Mbugua spoke as Jubilee and Cord supporters clashed after a section of alleged Jubilee supporters stormed a hotel where Odinga was having a meeting chanting anti-Raila slogans.

Nakuru police were forced to shoot in the air to disperse the crowd which was demanding Raila and the other CORD leaders to leave the town.
