Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua is likely to be the winner come the next general election, Japhet Kitur, a political scientist has said.
Speaking in his office yesterday, the political analyst said the long list of competitors will give Mbugua high chances of winning the next elections.
"His competitors will definitely divide votes and in the process give Mbugua a better chance of winning," he said.
"In most rural areas, where more than half of the voters live, Mbugua is loved and many will wish to vote him back again so that he can complete development projects," he added.
