Former Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Sunday held a thanks giving ceremony at a church in Kiambu county.
Mbugua was appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta to the powerful position of State House comptroller.
The thanks giving ceremony was attended by several Kiambu leaders led by Deputy Governor James Nyoro.
The ceremony was held at PCEA Karinde Church in Kikuyu.
"I joined Hon Kinuthia Mbugua, the State House Comptroller, at a thanksgiving service for his family at PCEA Karinde Church, Karai Ward, Kikuyu sub-county. We thank the moderator Rev Wangai and the entire congregation for the great reception they gave us," Nyoro, the Kiambu Deputy Governor, posted on his social media page.
