[Photo/Kinuthia Mbugua]Former Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua, has responded after he was appointed as the Comptroller at State House.The politician who withdrew his candidature to secure Nakuru gubernatorial seat in favour of Lee Kinyanjui, replaced Lawrence Lenayapa on Friday last week.On Saturday, Mbugua thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for the appointment saying he would walk the talk and work hard.Below is Mbugua's message."Happy new year my people, my best wishes to you and your families. I would like to take this opportunity to profoundly thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for the confidence he has shown in me by appointing me as the Statehouse Comptroller. I would like to assure the President that I regard this appointment with high esteem, fully aware of the tough task on my shoulders and that I will work diligently and dutifully. God bless you all and God bless Kenya."
