Nominated Senator Paul Njoroge says that Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has failed the county and has nothing to show for the years he has been in office.
The Senator, who has declared interests to unseat Mbugua, said Nakuru needs a visionary leader with peoples interests at heart.
"He has failed Nakuru because he has nothing to show, no tangible projects. Nakuru need a leader with a vision and who want to serve the people," he said.
"Kinuthia should be preparing to go home, I am confident I will defeat him and others,"he added.
Njoroge was nominated to the senate by President Uhuru's party TNA to represent people with disability.
