Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has announced that his office has provided buses to ferry residents to witness the swearing in of president Uhuru Kenyatta as he begins his second term.
In a statement on his Facebook page Monday, the governor said that a number of buses will be distributed to each of the county's 11 constituencies in a bid to ensure that no one misses out the event.
''As promised earlier, I have availed busses to transport residents to Kasarani Sports Center,'' he said.
The governor said he has handed over the responsibility to respective leaders including MPs, Jubilee party officials and the county senator Susan Kihika.
Uhuru's swearing in comes amid reports that the opposition will also have a parallel rally to swear in their leaders.
Despite being in the list of invitees to the event, the opposition has opted to stay away.
