Kiogosi Primary school in South Mugirango has received a cheque of Sh400,000 from CDF kitty in aid of constructing permanent classrooms.

Addressing residents during the occasion South Mugirango MP Manson Nyamweya said that he want to help in constructing permanent classrooms as he has been doing.

According to the headteacher of the school Paul Ochweya, the school has got many challenges which need to be addressed more so in constructing permanent classrooms.

Mr Onchweya said due to muddy classrooms pupils have been experiencing problems some being attacked by jiggers.

“There is a lot of challenges in this school which needs to be addressed, first we need to construct classrooms so that our pupils and teachers can have a friendly environment, personal I have experienced pupils being attacked with jiggers due to this muddy classrooms,” said headteacher.

He also said that the school is facing understaffing problem hence he is calling the government to help the school for better performance.

“The school lack enough teachers, we urge the ministry  of education to employ more teachers so that they can enhance performance,” said Ochweya.
