A section of residents in Kisii has asked the county government to construct good permanent sewer lines to prevent sewage flowing into their businesses.

The tenants said that they are sitting on a time bomb and it is just a matter of time before diseases break out and start ravaging their customers and young children.Kiosk vendors as well have found it hard to operate especially those with food kiosks as this is an already health hazard and risk closure of their business.“We are asking Thika MP and our MCA to construct permanent sewage lines for us. I earn my living here and I cannot imagine being driven out of business because of someone's mistake,” said Kamau, a kiosk vendor. They have asked Thika MP Patrick Wainaina to visit the area and witness the pathetic state.“If the MP hears our cry and comes we shall be relieved,” said Mwangi, another food kiosk seller in the area.Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Kiambu that you want Hivisasa to cover?
