Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge has urged athletes to desist from doping by all means.
"I want to urge athletes to use their talent and win clean instead of using illegal drugs," he said in Eldoret town, Sunday.
"If you want to stay longer in this field and build a good legacy just use your talent. Let us win clean and fair," he added.
He, however, urged the National Assembly to pass legislation that will criminalize doping and stern actions taken against those involved.
"We want this mess to stop since it is painting our athletes in a bad image and we might end up being banned from international competitions.I also call upon the anti-doping to sensitize athletes on the dangers of doping," noted Kipchoge.
He advised Kenyans embrace to running since it is healthy and keeps one fit.
“Let us refrain from always using vehicles but instead should walk and run. This helps one from being affected by diseases such as high blood pressure,” he added.
