[Photo/Daily Nation]Government spokesperson Mr Erick Kiraithe has responded over Kisumu Senator Anyang Nyong'o sentiments that the Kenya Defence Forces spokesman Joseph Owuoth was missing.On Tuesday, the guberntorial hopeful led a section of NASA coalition politicians in a press conference where they claimed Owuoth was missing, basing their claims on reports from the military man's family.However, while addressing the nation on Wednesday concerning the government's preparedness for Tuesday's elections, Kiraithe condemned Nyong'o sentiments as reckless and irresponsible.
He has condemned the utterances which he says created anxiety.
Kiraithe also said the government is prepared to offer adequate security during the electioneering period.
"We are prepared to control and prevent anything that might happen during or after elections," he said.
