Government spokesperson Erick Kiraithe has termed as 'the greatest lie ever told' claims that there are areas that might experience volatility following the August polls.
The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC)said Tuesday that there was a likelihood of poll violence following inflammatory remarks being issued by politicians.
But responding on the same, the former police spokesman dismissed the claims saying the commission should move with speed and arrest that preaching hate.
"The NCIC should tell us who these individuals are and have them arrested.Issuing statements will not help much," he told KTN News.
Kiraithe also took issues with the European Union election observers who were the first to raise the flag on potential electoral violence saying if they were genuine enough their countries could have issued travel advisories ti their nationals in the country.
He reiterated the government's commitment to maintaining peace during and after the August 8 polls and urged Kenyans to maintain peace.
