Former Meru governor Peter Munya and the current boss Kiraitu Murungi have agreed to bury their differences and work together to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the repeat polls.
This is after the two met and held discussions with the president at State House, Nairobi, on Tuesday.
They said they would go back to Meru people with the message of unity and conduct the presidential campaigns with a common goal.
They have been at loggerheads ever since Kiraitu announced his bid to contest for the top county seat and matters were escalated when Kiraitu finally beat Munya during the August 8 polls.
Munya joined the opposition NASA shortly before Jubilee approached him back onto their side.
