Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi has said that Meru people will vote President Uhuru Kenyatta with 'anger'.
Speaking after President Uhuru's win was nullified, Kiraitu added that the Jubilee candidate will get more votes.
“I know Meru will vote for Uhuru in ‘anger’ and the margin between Uhuru and NASA leader Raila Odinga will be even bigger,” Kiraitu said.
According to Kiraitu, Uhuru's development record in the area will see him re-elected easily.
On Friday, the Supreme Court nullified the win from the August polls after the NASA Coalition presented a petition.
NASA cited massive irregularities during the voting process.
The Judiciary has under sharp criticism from the Jubilee team which claimed that the ruling was biased.
President Uhuru Kenyatta speaking on Saturday said that the top court needs to be fixed once the elections are over.
The next elections are set to be held within 60 days from the day of the ruling.
All presidential candidates will participate in the repeat polls.
