Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi has hailed President Uhuru Kenyatta, after he met Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Friday.
The Jubilee Governor addressed the press on Saturday flanked by Senator Kithure Kindiki, and issued the below message:
"I join other Kenyans in congratulating President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader, Hon. Raila Odinga for the bold decision they have taken to work together.
The historic move is sure to heal the Nation and lay the foundation of a united Kenya.
The move will also impact positively on the country's economy and brings to an end the long, protracted, chaotic electoral process that almost ruined our economy.
Once again, congratulations President Uhuru and Hon. Raila Odinga. Kenya can only have one President at a time...#Unity4Kenya...."
