A dormitory at Kirandich Secondary School in Nakuru was razed down on Saturday morning, moments after another similar incident hit Keringet High School.
According to the Star, the morning incident saw property worth Sh4 million destroyed in an arson incident that is said to have been started by an Egerton University student.
"A culprit who had dreadlocks was seen loitering around the school since 3pm and was later seen at the scene but fled," said a parent who is also a neighbour to the school the school.
Confirming the incidence, the sSchool principal Richard Nyolei revealed that the 468 in the school were requested to go home as investigations are conducted.
In a similar incident, students at Keringet Secondary School burned one of their dormitories on Friday in a demand for refund of part of the fines they paid last term after they allegedly broke their window panes.
A teacher was later arrested after students claimed that he had incited them to take the action.
