Amani National Congress Deputy Party leader Kipruto Arap Kirwa has urged Deputy President William Ruto to stop making fun of every step made by the opposition towards improving the nation.

In an interview on KTN TV on Wednesday, Kirwa said that the DP has always been looking down upon and laughing off any development made by the opposition ,a behavior that shows carelessness.

''I want to tell Ruto to stop being sarcastic about every initiative the opposition brings on the table for the sake of the suffering Kenyans,'' he said.

The former Cherangany lawmaker further accused the DP of using most of his time condemning and making fun of the opposition brigade rather that solving the many problems facing Kenyans.

''Ruto is always negative, he is now laughing at the opposition which is trying to save the nation from the problems he and the President have brought. They have taken the nation deep into debts which Kenyans will pay for years to come. These are the tings he should address," said the former Minister who also said that Ruto suffers from short political sight.

''Ruto and his team should stop taking the opposition unity for granted but be worried instead. In 2002 he said that there is no way the NARC Coalition could defeat Moi but we did. The same will happen this time too," he added.

Ruto was on Wednesday quoted downplaying and making fun of the NASA leaders accusing them of planning to divide power among themselves.

He was speaking in Mariakani.
