Kisauni MP Rashid Bedzimba on Thursday issued education bursaries worth Sh26.2million through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Speaking during the ceremony held at Mtopanga Primary School, Bedzimba noted the CDF's positive impact to the society, pledging more support in the education sector.

"CDF has been a key kitty in improving the lives of our people. The results that the kitty has achieved cannot go unnoticed," he said.

"My commitment to improve our education sector still stands. I am committed and ready to improve it," he added.

The legislator further donated school uniforms and shoes to Mtopanga Primary School pupils.
