Kisii county business community has now been called upon to embrace the new automated revenue and tax management system in order to help the county achieve its revenue collection target.
Addressing journalist in his office trade and industry (ICT) county executive Ibrahim Moiro said that the recently launched automated system of tax collection will see the county grow in terms of development.
Omari expressed optimism that revenue collection in the county would increase significantly once the automated tax management system is fully implemented.
“I am sure that if the business community gets to cooperate the county will be able to meet its target on revenue collection,” he added.
He added that the county revenue management system which was launched recently is unique compared to systems established by other counties.
The executive called upon all the county business community to cooperate with the officials in carrying out the process.
Currently, there are three firms carrying out the exercise that was launched a week ago they include KCB/Riverbank Solutions, Strathmore University and Digital savanna solutions.
