Kisii County governor James Ongwae has told county minister to put measures to attract investors to the county.
Speaking on Thursday during the signing of performance contracts of 10 county ministers, Ongwae said his government was committed to have more investors who can help the county to develop.
“My government his committed to attract more investors, I am encouraging my ministers to source for more investors so that we can develop this county,” said Ongwae.
He revealed that he will hold talks with Korea investors to put in place strategies of development.
“Today (Thursday) after this function, I am going to hold talks with investors from Korea hoping that we are going to have strategies in place on how to work with them,” he said.
The governor also used the platform to warn politicians against politicising revenue collection in the county.
