Kisii county Governor James Ogwae. [Photo/Citizen digital]The County government of Kisii has launched a project for the construction of a bridge in Sensi ward, Kitutu Chache North Constituency.
The bridge is estimated to cost of Sh10 million and will connect Nyagesenda and Botabori villages.The bridge which is currently in a critical condition has so far led to motorbikes and pedestrians accidents.
While speaking during the launch on Saturday, Sensi ward representative Paul Angwenyi said the construction will proceed for the next three months before the rainy season sets in."The contractor is here and the construction work will start immediately because this bridge has affected many business people and school children who use it," said Paul Angwenyi.Sensi ward residents thanked Governor Ogwae for living up to his promise of renovating the bridge once he assumes office for his second and last term.#Kisiigov
