Kisii county cabinet secretaries and Members of County Assembly have been challenged to visit the inner areas of the county to let people know what the county government is doing and what it intends to do for them in the future.
According to Geoffrey Mogire KNUT leader from Kisii county, he said that the county depends on the performance of cabinet secretaries and the Members of County Assembly for it to develop.
“I am urging cabinet secretaries and MCAs to visit locals so that they can help residents to understand what is going on in terms of development,” said Mogire
He added that this is because residents can be blaming the governor saying that he is not performing but in real sense his colleagues are the ones that have failed him.
“Visiting residents from the inner areas of this county will help them to understand what the government is doing,”added Mogire.
He also advised them to associate with people in order to know what they expect from the country government as they will be free to present their views.
