Kisii county government is on the spot yet again over human waste that has been flowing into the Nyakomisaro and Riana rivers.

Local residents have complained of the bad stench emanating from the river, where some have even encroached and build residential homes.

The residents are worried because Raina is one of the major sources of drinking water for the county.

Here are some of the reactions from the locals and Kenyans regarding the sewage menace.

#KisiiSewageMenace the river flowing through KISII town is black and stinking foul, and its water is used in many aspects, very wrong where is @NEMAtweets

The #KisiiSewageMenace is just but an example of what will soon hit Nairobi County if the Sonko government only works on their Facebook page and through twitter warriors.

The governor is not worried about this #KisiiSewageMenace. To him,it maters more to award his cronies with lucrative tenders, employing his village men, cracking dissent opinion makers and enriching himself. I stay in Daraja Mbili-the epicenter of all this menace.
