The Kisii County Government is supporting radical changes proposed by the ministry of education to improve education in the region.
County Executive Committee member in charge of Education, Labour and Manpower Development Amos Andama said the changes taken by the ministry of education are aimed at improving the quality of education in the country and vowed to partner with state agencies to make it a success.
Andama was speaking on Wednesday at the Kisii School, Getembe mixed and Nyabururu Girls high school during the launch of book distribution for Form one students.
“The County Government through the Department of Education, Labour and Manpower Development will work with all government bodies to ensure that academic standards in the county are improved,” said Andama.
