Kisii County deputy governor Joash Maangi has confirmed that the county assembly is ready to pass people’s assembly motion as they have already read and understood it.

According to the deputy governor, the Members of the county assembly will on Thursday have a seating that will see the motion tabled.

Speaking on Wednesday Maangi said there is no need for NASA supporters to worry about why the motion has not been tabled and dispelled claims that Jubilee has influenced any of the MCAs.

“The number of NASA MCAs have already agreed to pass the motion that I am sure will boost democracy in Kenya and we expect it to be done by Thursday to allow Raila push our agenda forward,” said Maangi

The Deputy Governor also urged the NASA MCAs to ensure that they turn out in large numbers to avoid any inconvenience that may be caused by their rivals.

Kisii will join 10 counties that have already passed the motion endorsing people’s assemblies that will see the swearing in Raila Odinga as the people’s president.
