Kisii county executive for sports Duke Mainga has promised to support the youths in Kisii and help them come up with business.

Speaking to youths on Tuesday during an enterpreneurship book launch, he asked youths to focus on self employment. 

"The youths should not wait to be employed but should think outside the box and come up with business ideas," he said.

He said that his office was always open for youths to consult him.

Mr Mainga told the youths that he will ensure that various county libraries are stocked with books. 

He also asked youths to avoid fast money but instead work hard for success.

"Do not be afraid to apply for the county jobs that sound so big. With determination everything is possible," he said.
