The Kisii county health executive Sarah Omache has said that they have put all measures in place in aid of getting all children within the county vaccinated.
Speaking on Monday at the Kisii Referral and Teaching Hospital during the 3rd day of the Polio exercise, Sarah said that they are targeting 242,116 children who need to be vaccinated.
“We have all measures in place in aid of reaching all children within this county so that they can be vaccinated,” said Omache.
“What we want is cooperation from parents and guardians for easy access to the children in their respective homes,” added Omache.
She also thanked some parents who have already allowed their children to be vaccinated and advised others to follow the trend.
“Since we started the exercise on Saturday we have not encountered any difficulty or resistance from parents and we hope the three days that are remaining will be successful,” said Omache.
