The County government of Kisii has promised to upgrade seven dispensaries in Nyamache, Bobasi constituency as one way of improving health services in the area.
Speaking on Thursday at Nyamache level 4 hospitals in Bobasi constituency during the presentation of Theater Machines at the hospital, Governor James Ongwae promised that his government will upgrade seven dispensaries that were started as C.D.F projects and were not completed.
According to Governor Ongwae, this is the only way to improve health services in the area, so that the common mwanainchi can get this services within the area.
“My government is looking forward to upgrade seven dispensaries in this area as one way of improving health services in this place,” Ongwae said.
“Although these projects were started by CDF before the county government took over, but as the county Government we are going to upgrade them since they will benefit us in the health sector,” Ongwae added
At the same time, he added one of the new county ambulances to Nyamache level 4 hospital to serve the larger Bobasi Constituency.
Residents and area MCAs who attended the launching of the machines thanked the county government and vowed to work together to enhance development.
