Kisii South Deputy County Commissioner, Charles Mbugshe has warned all members of the public trespassing through school compounds that their days are numbered.

Mbugshe said that, trespassing through school compounds by members of the public posse’s security threat to the students.

Speaking at Kerina ELCK Primary School during a food donation exercise for deaf children from Kerina ELCK Special School for the deaf, the deputy County Commissioner directed all Chiefs and their assistants in Kisii South sub-county to ensure all public schools in their areas of jurisdiction are secured and protected from intruders who trespass through school compounds.

"I am directing all Chiefs and their assistants from Kisii South sub-county to ensure all public schools' compounds are well secured from intruders, to assure learners of their security,” stated Mbugshe

And just in case of crime, the relevant authority would be able to narrow down their investigation to a particular group of people.

He observed that, having aliens and suspicious members of the public trespassing through schools amounted to a crime and anybody found doing so will be arrested and taken to court for a legal action.
