Kiogoro MCA Samuel Apoko has said Kisii County is a fertile land for politics.
Apoko said Deputy President William Ruto and Cord leader Raila Odinga have frequented the county with an aim of targeting electorates to vote for them in the next general election.
MCA Apoko said Kisii is the most targeted region in votes in 2017 and called the region as the fertile land politically.
“Our politicians need to have votes from our county according to their visits and I call upon leaders to work together to benefit our residents in development,” he told the press in Kisii town.
He also claimed that Nyacheki ward by election was not done transparently and area electorates were never given their time and opportunity to participate in election exercise transparently.
“Their was high bribery in Nyacheki by election but now let us accept the leader who was elected and we are ready to work with him development.”
