Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party will clinch many elective seats in Gusii land on August, Senator Janet Ong’era insists.
Ong’era further says the party is set to receive a host of defectors from Jubilee government whom she claimed will consolidate support for Raila Odinga.
“Do not be cheated that ODM has fallen. We keep growing every day and my happiness is that we shall receive even more defectors,” she said on Monday at Gusii stadium.
Ong’era further added: “I am quite sure that most elective seats will be delivered and that is an assurance. We cannot allow Jubilee Party to penetrate here.”
The former ODM Chief executive insisted that the party will conduct free and fair nominations in March amid fears that some candidates had opted to bow out.
Also, Timothy Bosire (Kitutu Masaba), James Ongwae (Kisii), John Nyagarama (Nyamira) and Sam Ongeri vowed to popularize the party in the region.
