A Kisii County Jubilee MCA has vowed to initiate several development projects in his ward to improve the livelihoods of people.
Sameta Mokwerero ward MCA Geoffrey Ombati Ombui assured residents that feeder roads in the ward will be opened up to ease transportation across the ward.
"Transportation of people and farm produce to various markets across the county will be easy because interior roads will be opened up," said Ombui.
"No vehicle or motorbike will get stuck in the mud because the roads in the region will be murramed,” he added.
Ombui promised that water springs which have blocked will be unblocked for locals to get access to plenty supply of clean water.
The ward representative also stated that he will work with the top Jubilee leadership to develop the ward.
"I will reach out to president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto so that several development projects can be initiated and completed in time without failing," he said.
He was speaking when he toured the ward on Thursday evening.
