Kisii and Nyamira leaders have wished class 8 candidates the best of luck as they sit for their Kenya Certificate for Primary Education (KCPE).

Speaking to this writer on Monday, the leaders; Kisii deputy governor Joash Maangi, Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire, Borabu MP Ben Momanyi among others urged candidates to avoid exam cheating that which they said can affect the outcome of results.

"I urge candidates to do their exam independently in order to avoid anything that might hamper the outcome of their results," said Maangi.

On the same note, the Sensi ward Member of County Assembly Onchong'a Nyagaka on Monday donated geometrical sets to class 8 candidates in the area in preparation for the exams which will begin tomorrow.

"I have given more than 700 geometrical sets to Sensi ward class 8 candidates and I wish them well in their exams starting tomorrow. I gave out geometrical sets and success cards to the candidates so that they can be encouraged," he said.

The headteacher of Kisii Primary School Grace Nyamweya said they have prepared their candidates well despite the September teachers strike that paralysed learning in public schools.
