A Kisii County ward representative has said that Nasa leader Raila Odinga is confused.
Mr Protus Moindi said that claims by Mr Odinga on Tuesday that governors were issuing handouts to ward reps to accept county executives were baseless.
"Mr Odinga should have been more specific and ashamed counties involved in graft. In Kisii County things are not done that way he said.
He argued that Governor Ongwae had good relations with the ward reps reason things were working for him in Kisii County.
The Bomariba ward MCA stated that the assembly members are committed to ensure devolution works to improve the lives of people in Kisii County.
“Devolution governance has given fruits in Kisii County following the numerous development projects which have been launched across the county. We expect more development to be achieved in future if more funds will be sent from the national government,” he said.
He challenged Governor Ongwae and his deputy to utilise funds collected as revenue and allocate to all wards.
