Photo: Citizen DigitalDespite the delayed kick off of ODM's Kisii County nomination exercise, the County Elections Board Chairman Osoro Okondo has assured the party faithfuls that the exercise will be extended.Kisii has long been perceived as an opposition stronghold thus making the Thursday nominations a do or die affair, and similar scenes as witnessed in Busia County cannot be dismissed.Reliable reports have revealed that Governor James Ongwae, nominated Senator Janet Ongera and Senatorial hopeful Sam Ongeri have received direct nomination tickets, meaning they will not go through the Thursday exercise. However, the hustle is still on in Bomachoge Borabu where Josiah Maaga, Zadock Ogutu, and Lameck Mokua will seek the ODM ticket. In Bomachoge Chache, the race is between Jeremiah Matoke and Job Nyangenya. The biggest headache for the orange party will however be in Kitutu Chache South, where close allies to party leader Raila Odinga will face off, the list includes Samuel Omwando and Anthony Kibagendi, this is also the constituency where ODM MP Richard onyonka haails from.Boncharians will have to choose between John Momanyi and David Ogega. In South Mugirango Dennis Maobe comes face to face with Ondora Joshua as they seek to unseat incumbent MP Manson Nyamweya who is seeking for the gubernatorial seat.
