Speaking on Saturday at Gekomu SDA church, John Kemori lauded former candidates for producing incredible performance and emerging one of the best performing institutions in Kisii Central Sub-county.

“They worked very hard and cooperated well with their teachers and I salute them for that. Reaching a mean of 325 marks is not a mere achievement. They were absolutely superb and I know they will carry on with the same spirit in A-level,” he said.

“It is a great honor since we were able to do it without tuition that we used to have those days. Even though we did not reach our target of 340 marks, am sure we will do that this year,” added Kemori.

He lauded the team work exhibited by his staff, saying they were dedicated and gave their time to guide students and polish their area of weaknesses, further thanking parents for their enormous contribution.

“My teachers once again showed how committed they are to help young people. Parents were also integral part of our performance given their continued support,” added the school head.

Over 20 students managed to score 350 marks that guarantee them a direct admission to national schools, a significant improvement from 13 candidates who excelled in 2013’s exam.
