Kisii County residents have been challenged to attend the Kisii Investor Summit which will take place at the Kisii University on 24 to 26 this month.

Speaking at the Gusii cultural hall on Thursday during the Kisii town stakeholders consultative forum, the county secretary, Johnston Ndege, advised residents to attend the summit since it will things that he said will benefit them.

''The county has organised the investor’s summit so we urge all residents to attend it since it will help us in terms of development,'' said Ndege.

He added that through the summit, the county is likely to get some investors who will help the county develop in various sectors.

''The summit is going to help us to get some investors who are going to help us in developing some sectors so we expect a lot from the summit so let us join hands in welcoming the summit and make sure that we attend,'' said Ndege.

Ndege also urged residents, more so, business people in town to prepare well as the investors are likely to start coming into town by making sure that the buildings are well painted before the summit starts.

''Let us prepare well so that when our visitors come, they find that we are all organised,'' he said.
