Kisii University Vice Chancellor Prof John Akama has said the institute has undergone exponential growth since receiving its charter in 2013.
According to Akama, the varsity has increased the number of programmes ranging from diploma to masters degree sections.
Similarly, the increase in the number of students since 2013 signifies that the institute is undergoing growth.
"We have seen a tremendous growth in the University since it received a charter in 2013. The number of programmes has increased and the number of students has also increased. This only signifies the institute has undergone exponential growth."
Akama made the remarks during the 4th graduation ceremony performed on Friday at the University's pavilion.
The VC further said the university had a total of over 20,000 students and could not thus be taken for granted.
A total of at least 3,000 graduates were conferred with diplomas, undergraduate degrees and masters degrees.
