A Kisii University student Tom (not his real name) aged 23, has confessed being gay and mantains that efforts to change from the habit have proved futile.

He told Hivisasa that he has been sleeping with another student Mike (not real name).

He blames his mother for being gay saying that she brought her up badly.

"I have never loved a lady ever since I joined secondary school. Injust hate complementing girls for looking beautiful," he said. 

He said that his mother lived calling him sweet names that he just can't afford calling a lady.

Tom met Mike during their first week in Campus and confesses that he loved his muscles.

"Mike is also handsome trust me, he is the best I have ever met," Tom broadly says it. 

Mike who started being gay in High school also thinks that Tom is cute and has a good walking style. 

He says that he never knew that Tom was gay despite having an attractive walking style until one day when they went out drinking.

His dancing moves in the club made him fall for him even more and that night they spent the night together. 

"That was our first night out and I just liked everything about him. Since then we have never looked back," Mike said. 

What also contributed to the relationship was when their pals used to joke that the two looked like a couple even before they started it. 

Mike says that one day he was shocked to hear Tom say he had no problem being gay instead of wasting his money on university girls. 

Tom and Mike even say that they have joined a gay club in Kisii town that at some points want them to change patners but they have never accepted.

"I just feel that our love is real and I cant imagine Tom sleeping with someone else. I will never allow," he said. 

The two also say that they dont have plans of separating from each other. 

Mike says he can't believe living without Tom arguing that they have invested a lot in the relationship. 

Homosexuality in Kenya according to the constitution is illegal. 

Also majority of the communities in Africa view gaysim as a taboo.
