Residents of Kisii have expressed their satisfaction with the ruling of Judge Maraga which they termed as 'Solomonic' and appealed to all Kenyans to uphold peace.

Speaking after the Supreme court upheld President Uhuru's win on the 26th October 2017, the residents of Kisii appealed to those who were celebrating to do so modestly and those who were not favored by the ruling to move on.

"Judge Maraga has done good work," Dennis Getare of Nyaribari said.

"I voted for Uhuru and I am happy," Moses Nyandusi of Nyaribari said. "Raila should use parliament and other constitutional channels to present his grievances," he added.

There was general calm in most areas in Kisii County as residents went about their businesses as usual.

This comes in the wake of the six-man bench that upheld President Uhuru's win following several petitions filed at the Court to challenge Uhuru's re-election.
